Over the past few months, I’ve gotten to know this little lady more & more. She has the most beautiful big brown eyes, great rhythm & is now a whole YEAR old! I absolutely adored her joint cake smash with our good friends Harlee & Shalin. She is an absolute doll and I cannot wait to capture more memories & milestones in the future!
**A special thank you goes out to The Art of Cake for the gorgeous cupcake
I first met Lisa just over a year ago when she reached out to me for maternity photos – she was positively glowing & radiant and an absolute dream to photograph!
3 months later, Grady was born and I had the pleasure of meeting the little man & capture all of his newborn goodness.
& now I am so excited to share these images of his one year family session. The little man is ridiculously adorable and is already WALKING!
This spunky, energetic & gorgeous little girl just turned ONE! Which blows my mind because I feel like it was just weeks ago that I was taking maternity photos for her parents. This little miss always seems to be the centre of attention… even in a crowded room. She has an indescribable love for cheese buns & good music. And she is the most even-tempered little lady that I have ever come across to date.
So this session is from a giveaway that I did LAST YEAR. First & foremost I am so grateful to Angela and her family for being extremely patient and allowing me to push our shoot back until after Jess was born. They are an amazing family and have a beautiful, energetic little girl who adores being in front of the camera! Angela suggested utilizing the beach area at Lake Summerside for the backdrop of their photos. It was absolutely breathtaking! The evening summer light was perfect and I instantly fell in love with taking beach photos. I am definitely looking forward to my next session at Lake Summerside 😋
Alana & Jeremy welcomed me into their home early last month to take pictures of their newest addition. Miss. M is absolutely beautiful and did incredible during her first photo shoot! The love between these two was palpable throughout the entire session and you can tell that they just adore this little girl. Mayla, you are already so so loved! Welcome to this amazing world.
Here are a few of my favourite images… Enjoy!
It’s this little miss’ FIRST BIRTHDAY next month, so I figured it’s about time I blog this gorgeous session. Totally adored by her big brother, this little girlie is an amazing addition to such an already beautiful family. Miss. A is suuuuper bubbly & happy, she has an infectious smile and [appears to be] very easy-going. You can definitely tell M&D are totally smitten… here are a few of my favs!
Back in May I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful new family of three. Britt & Brett made being new parents look so easy – they were complete naturals. & Elwood is as handsome as ever, just look at him.
For this post I decided to turn their beautiful gallery into a video – a keepsake for them to watch back and cherish. Especially when this little man grows up way too fast. I would recommend watching it in HD.
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet these new parents last August and capture some beautiful moments as a family of three. Considering Mr. T is almost 9 months now and has like 4 teeth, I’m pretty sure I can’t actually call them new parents anymore. Plus you could also say that I am way behind on my blogging………………
Anyways! I have been receiving a lot of interest in lifestyle newborn shoots and would like to provide a little insight into my unique process.
So I am FINALLY getting around to blogging about my latest session with this beautiful family. Last spring I had the amazing opportunity to capture their maternity photos and late August beautiful Harlee arrived. These two are so in love with: one another; their new babe, and their old babe, Otis the maltese. It’s always a treat to have them in front of my lens. I can’t wait to share my favourite snaps with you!
So it appears I’ve taken a 9 month hiatus from blogging. In fact, my last blog entry was July 31st, 2016… five days after we found out I was pregnant. From that point on, looking at a computer screen made me woozy, I was barfing six to ten times a day requiring IV Gravol and fluids, plus I was in charge of chasing around our busy toddler. Read More
