Last winter I was incredibly honoured when the PICU social committee reached out to see if I would donate a session for their Christmas Party. Of course I said yes! And the beautiful and insanely compassionate nurse, Katelyn was the one to receive it. Her and her boyfriend met me out at my parents’ place one beautiful fall evening and brought along with them their gorgeous pup Abby. I had such a blast photographing their connection and love for one another. It was a great opportunity to see my two worlds collide!
Here is a glimpse of their gorgeous session,
I love photographing this family. They are such beautiful people inside & out, lots of fun to be around and have a stunning home that I have had the pleasure to shoot in three times now.

A kid’s reaction to cake is always a bit of a surprise. Parents may think they have an idea of how it will go but most are shocked. I think Elwood certainly surprised his parents when he dove head first into his first pile of sugar and was covered head to toe in whipped cream. Anyways, it was an absolute blast and I can’t wait to share this amazing session with all of you!

You know those people who are put in your life for a reason? The ones who keep you grounded and can talk you through anything… the ones who get you through that first nursing clinical… the person who will come with you to your kid’s art class on their day off… the friend that your kids call Auntie…
Well now I can officially call that person family.
The world works in mysterious ways & I can’t wait to meet the newest member of the family! #babyfletcher
Here are a few more photos from my session with these two beautiful souls!
Last month baby Sullivan made an early arrival into this world and I got to take in all of his newborn goodness. At just a few hours old, he was showered with love and adoration by his beautiful parents and I got to snap a few photos of his perfect little features.
Every so often I offer Fresh 48 sessions to my clients because they are just good for my soul. It is amazing to see new parents navigate their emerging roles, meet the tiniest babes & address that forever baby fever.
Sullivan, I cannot wait for our in home lifestyle newborn session. Even though I don’t know how it’s possible… I’m pretty sure you’re getting cuter by the day!
Ps check out their maternity session here!
In February I decided to celebrate motherhood by giving away a ‘mama & me’ session over on instagram! Beautiful Ali won and we took some gorgeous spring photos of her and her adorable daughter Rowyn. I was told Rowyn could sometimes be a bit shy and might take take some time to warm up… Needless to say, the photos turned out better than I could have imagined and I definitely plan on making this special giveaway an annual occurrence!
Here are a few more,
A few weeks ago, I met this gorgeous couple for their maternity shoot and it was such a pleasure having them in front of my lens. Not only are they beautiful people inside and out, but I genuinely enjoyed the fact that it was just the two of them! Don’t get me wrong, I obviously LOVE photographing families and children – especially my own. However, the task certainly comes with a few obstacles. This session was like a breath of fresh air that I didn’t know I needed. I was just able to revel in the space created to celebrate these two before they become parents and welcome a beautiful baby into their family.
I am so humbled to have been asked to capture this special time in their lives!
This little squish is named Henry and is the newest addition to the Tredget family. He was absolutely perfect during our lifestyle newborn shoot and snoozed the entire time (although I will admit that Dad is the ultimate baby whisperer). Finn has very naturally assumed his big brother role and is already so kind, gentle and protective over little Henry. Thanks again for choosing me to capture these beautiful moments in your lives. I am always so thankful and appreciative when families invite me into their homes to do what I love!
A couple of months ago, Amanda & Pat welcomed their beautiful daughter into this world. I was so grateful to be invited into their home, meet their adorable new squish and to capture some precious moments for them. Both being animal lovers their only request was to get some photos with their three pups. I was super impressed by how well-behaved and gentle the pups were with Quinn! She sure is one lucky girl. Here are a few of my favs..
This session was a natural light photographer’s DREAM.
The location, the lighting and the happiness & love that filled the home… It was all perfect. And not only did it include a childhood friend but her wonderful husband and their two adorable little girls who reminded me so much of my own. In fact, when I got Craig to lay a “fresh set of eyes” on my edits, he had to do a double take because Amelie looked so much like Brynlee.
Take a peek.
