I had soooo much fun with this family! They met me at my parents’ property and they couldn’t have had a more beautiful evening. The leaves were perfectly golden and little miss was all smiles the entire time. They received this beautiful blanket as a wedding gift, but if anyone knows where it is from — please shoot me a message!!
I first met Lisa just over a year ago when she reached out to me for maternity photos – she was positively glowing & radiant and an absolute dream to photograph!
3 months later, Grady was born and I had the pleasure of meeting the little man & capture all of his newborn goodness.
& now I am so excited to share these images of his one year family session. The little man is ridiculously adorable and is already WALKING!

So this session is from a giveaway that I did LAST YEAR. First & foremost I am so grateful to Angela and her family for being extremely patient and allowing me to push our shoot back until after Jess was born. They are an amazing family and have a beautiful, energetic little girl who adores being in front of the camera! Angela suggested utilizing the beach area at Lake Summerside for the backdrop of their photos. It was absolutely breathtaking! The evening summer light was perfect and I instantly fell in love with taking beach photos. I am definitely looking forward to my next session at Lake Summerside 😋
So it appears I’ve taken a 9 month hiatus from blogging. In fact, my last blog entry was July 31st, 2016… five days after we found out I was pregnant.
